Inclusive Instruction 2: Implementing HQIM with Diverse Learners
What is a curated workshop series?
A set of workshops deliberately designed and sequenced to build skills in one topic, from the fundamentals to advanced techniques. Through community, discussion, and multiple opportunities to practice, teachers hone new strategies they can use right away.
Description
This workshop series helps educators ensure High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) are accessible to all students. Educators will analyze curriculum exemplars to clarify learning expectations, learn the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) to support multilingual learners, and practice scaffolding instruction to maintain grade-level standards while meeting diverse learning needs. This series offers practical tools for implementing HQIM to foster equitable, high-quality learning for every student. All participants will gain exclusive access to an AI tool, developed in partnership with Playlab, designed to support the implementation of the skills learned in the series.
Available for Eureka, Illustrative Mathematics, and Wit and Wisdom
