Description
Introduction to Best Practices in Online Facilitation focuses on tips, tools, and resources to lead effective and engaging synchronous online instruction. Teachers will learn how to build community, provide clear directions virtually, spark engagement, and design virtual instruction. This workshop is an immersive learning experience, so that teachers themselves see what highly engaging synchronous learning looks and feels like. By the end of the session, teachers will sharpen their vision of high-quality online instruction and be equipped with tools and strategies to improve their classrooms.
Note: This workshop was formerly titled "Introduction to Best Practices for the Synchronous Classroom"
2 hour workshop, offered online or in-person. For in-person, you must book a total of at least 3 workshops for a full day of PD.
