Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Gabryelle Brooks

Gabryelle Brooks & Student

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, Relay is thrilled to highlight some of our most passionate & dedicated teachers who are continuously making an impact in the lives of their students!

Today’s spotlight is Ms. Gabryelle Brooks! Ms. Brooks teaches elementary and special needs at North Star Academy Vailsburg Elementary school. Relay would like to thank you for your commitment to your student’s success, which serves as a prime example of why Relay exists and continues to do the work that we do!

Check out our Q&A with Gabryelle below!

How has Relay helped you to become a more impactful teacher?

Relay has helped me in so many ways! It has given me the confidence to believe in myself as a teacher. I learned many ways to reach children and ensure that they are learning each day. I have learned so many tools and tips that help me each and every day in my classroom. Without relay and all my professors like Dean V. and Professor Fearse, I do not think I would be half the teacher I am now!!

What’s one word that You would use to describe being a teacher?

Purposeful

Do you have a favorite quote about teachers and/or education?
