Relay Tutor Corps
Relay Tutor Corps is a semester-long program that enables you to gain valuable experience working as a tutor and mentor in your community, while connecting with peers from local colleges and universities. You’ll tutor a small group of local elementary or middle school students during the spring semester, helping them build confidence and achieve key academic goals.
Tutoring is much more than just homework help. It’s an art and a science that requires you to build trust with your students and develop strong communication and facilitation skills. You’ll work with dedicated, experienced teachers to learn effective teaching strategies that will foster growth in your students. Over the course of the semester, you’ll receive ongoing coaching and development that will enable you to be successful as a tutor and as a future leader and professional.
Students will receive a scholarship payment for their participation in the program.
Relay Tutor Corps is not currently being offered in the 2019-2020 school year. This program was previously offered at Relay’s Houston and New Orleans campuses. Please check back at a later date for more information or email email@example.com if you have any questions.

“I was tutoring a student in math and she told me that she could not do better than a 78. After working together, she received a score of well over 80. She was so happy and even wanted to continue trying to reach a higher score.”
